Asics and Kiko Kostadinov Studio continue their collaboration. The London-based designer, known for his sculptural, futuristic design language, takes creative lead alongside the Asics SportStyle team. The Asics US8-S GEL-SJ33 reinterprets the unusual Gel-Super J33 from 2013 — a model from the experimental Natural33 series, which Kostadinov revives over a decade later. The Black Coffee / Orange Lily colorway features a deep, earthy base with a warm accent. The seamless upper is inspired by natural membranes and wraps around the foot like a second skin, while the multi-layered construction adds depth and texture. Visible GEL units give the silhouette its architectural character. The Natural33 series was once inspired by the natural movement of the runner and named after the 33 joints of the foot. This idea continues here, translated into a lifestyle context.
