Originally introduced in 1982 as a turf shoe, the silhouette returns as a flat lifestyle sneaker — and remains pleasantly quirky. The Boston brand draws on codes from its own DNA, borrowing from the upper of the T500 tennis model and placing it on a distinctive sole with a tooth-like design that gives the Gator Run its name. In the Bark / Linen version, the Gator Run departs from the shiny croc leather of the first drops and opts for a textile upper in earthy, muted tones. Brown meets light linen, complemented by leather branding as a calm counterpoint. The look is understated but never arbitrary — exactly the kind of subtlety that works in everyday life.
