Asics GEL-NYC

The GEL-NYC is Asics' answer to the longing for the early 2000s, condensed into a single model. As a so-called mash-up, the silhouette draws elements from the brand's archive: the surface structure of the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and GEL-MC PLUS V meets the sole tooling of the GEL-CUMULUS 16. The name refers to New York, to the energy and coexistence of styles in the city. This version comes in Smoke Grey and Black – a subdued, urban gray tone with dark accents. The mesh upper remains airy and structured, while suede overlays add depth. Visible GEL in the heel area emphasizes the runner DNA and cushions every step on asphalt. The muted gray tone seamlessly integrates into techwear and minimalist outfits, embodying the calm of gray urban days. A model for long walks through the city.
